Above ground pools must be installed on firm level ground. Always dig down to level. Never build up with soil or sand.
All "depths" quoted in our pricelists refer to approx maximum wall height. Actual water depths are obviously a few inches less
With care most of our above ground pools can be installed either fully or partly inground. Please ask for details.

INSTALLATION & SUPPLY of ALL A G BUDGET POOL KITS & EQUIPMENT
Most of our customers are “DIY” & perfectly happy to install their pools themselves, while some prefer to employ a local builder or landscaper. We have also found that the skills of car mechanics etc lend themselves well to putting up steel & liner above ground pools. We provide a full backup and advisory service, so please do not hesitate to ask us if you need technical help or reassurance at any time. Pumps plumbing & filtration must be completely drained in winter to avoid frost damage.
Most of our luxury steel wall or timber pools are suitable for inground installation. It is often best to use a digger and operator from a local plant hire company for initial excavation, and DIY or a local contractor for completion. Please consult us for recommended methods for sinking above ground pools partly or fully into the ground, as damage will occur unless done correctly. Please check with us first if groundwater is likely to be a problem. A very popular alternative to fully sinking is to use timber decking around the pool. Please let us know if you intend to sink your pool so that we can discuss your options. You may prefer a different ladder for example (often at little or no extra cost).
Splasher pools are not suitable for sinking in the ground.
Only a limited number of oval above ground pools are suitable for erecting on concrete or paving; please ask for advice if you wish to do so.
Although our kits are designed for competent "DIY" installation, we may be able to introduce you, without obligation or endorsement, to an installer or builder who can take on your project independently of ourselves, or perhaps just help you on a day to day basis with some of the more technical aspects. We advise you NOT to excavate or commit men & equipment to site until all equipment is ready. We take pride in our rapid & efficient service & although we can never absolutely guarantee delivery by any particular deadline we will always do our best.
Please count & check goods thoroughly on delivery. It may be hard to correct discrepancies unless reported within 24 hours. Please do not let anyone simply sign a carrier delivery note as this could risk your legal rights. We advise you delete “received in good condition” & substitute “received unchecked”. Or, if there is the slightest doubt, “received damaged”. Discount prices are for payment before delivery. We reserve the right to surcharge late / incomplete payment.
Chlorinate daily in season even if not in use. Keep over 1.5 ppm. Algae grow otherwise & may void cartridge filter warranty if so damaged. Keep pH over 7.2 to avoid corrosion.
