Our comprehensive pool kits include a high quality filtration pack: a high rate sand filter, complete with multiport selector valve, pressure gauge and special graded filter sand media, plus a self priming swimming pool pump with pre strainer and leaf basket. This means that it can be safely installed at deck level above the waterline. The table below gives typical sizes of filter and pump horse-power included with our DIY kits.
We stock excellent budget standard pumps which are ideal for most normal installations and for above ground pools. Our luxury swimming pool kits come with heavy duty pumps, which we recommend especially if suction pipe lines are unusually long, or if a greater self priming lift is required, with solar heating systems for example.
We sell mainly filters and pumps made by Certikin or Astral which we believe are the best quality and value for money, but we can supply any other brands on request, such as Sta-Rite, Hayward, Lacron etc.
